Louland Falls
A short, scenic drive up Parley’s Canyon,
Salt Lake City, Utah
Directions to the venue
Louland Falls is located in Parley’s Canyon. From Salt Lake City, take Interstate I-80 heading East to the Ranch exit #132, approximately 2 miles. Take the exit and turn left to go over the bridge, and then turn left again, to be heading Westbound on I-80. Then take the next exit #131 and follow the road upward toward the signs for parking.
A 6 person shuttle will be available from the parking lot up to the entrance at Louland Falls. Anyone with special needs can be dropped off at the top, closer to the entrance.
(Due to the span of locations where guests are staying, we are unable to coordinate a shuttle from the valley to the venue. If you need help with directions or getting to the parking lot at the venue, please reach out to us and we’ll happily assist.)

PLAY
Pineview Reservoir in Huntsville (shown above) is a favorite spot for time on and in the water, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, with sandy beaches and picnic tables lining the shore. Hiking, biking, and backyard-style BBQs are also perfect ways to spend the day.
Ski resorts offer spectacular scenery and activities in June. The mountains around Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Park City are typically warm in June—so don’t forget a hat and sunscreen.
EAT & DRINK
There’s no shortage of great food and bevarages nearby. Chase recommends Slackwater (with locations in Salt Lake City and Ogden). Kris suggests The Peddler in Eden for coffee, with breakfast or lunch, and Tokyo Station or The Sonora Grill in Ogden for dinner. Bill’s go-to is WhiteHorse in Salt Lake City. (Sarah’s picks coming soon!)
EXPLORE
Birding and searching for wildflowers are some of our favourite ways to enjoy the area. You’ll find stunning scenery and diverse species at places like the Ogden Nature Center, Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, the Great Salt Lake, Red Butte Botanical Gardens, and on just about any mountain hike. Bring your binoculars—or borrow ours! The east bench locations are especially known for their sweeping views and colorful evening sunsets.
